Investing Parents in Gender Equity
In this module teachers will learn the ways to communicate and involve parents in gender equity at the school. Parents play an important role in how learners understand gender; aligning parents to the school’s mission makes the path smoother. Furthermore, strong parental participation in gender equity initiatives can strengthen the work and make it more inclusive.
In this module teachers will learn how to inform parents of their school’s gender equity mission, how to engage parents in learning more about gender equity, and including parents in gender equity initiatives at school.
