Planning Explicit Lessons

Module Description

This module will focus on teachers’ understanding the concept and content of an explicit lesson structure. Teachers will be able to use explicit lesson plans, and I do, we do, you do sections for an upcoming lesson. With the lesson plan teachers will be able to address possible misconceptions that learners might have.

Module Objectives

By the end of the module teachers will be able to:
  • Understand what an explicit lesson structure is.
  • Understand the purpose and design of an I do, We do, You do lesson structure.
  • Create an explicit I do, We do, You do detailed lesson plan.
  • Be able to plan for misconceptions in an explicit I do, We do, You do lesson structure.
